Trade document solution provider Trade Technologies has appointed Christine Thompson as director of sales and solutions, Emea.

Based in London, Thompson will be responsible for the company’s business development and customer support activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

She joins Trade Technologies from BP, where she was a trade finance and letter of credit specialist for the last five years. Before that, she worked as a credit risk analyst and letter of credit specialist at LN Metals International and Blair Consular Services, both in London. Her experience also includes a stint in France, where she also worked in exports and documentation.

“Working closely with exporters to reduce risk, accelerate payments and improve the efficiency of trade processes is the core of my experience,” Thompson says. “I am delighted to join Trade Technologies to provide our clients with inventive trade document and receivables solutions that enable them to meet their international trading goals.”
