To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask that all attendees uphold standards that promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Professional Conduct at Events
Please note that all company-sponsored events, including social and networking functions, are conducted in a professional setting.
Accordingly, all attendees are expected to behave in a manner that reflects mutual respect and professionalism at all times.
GTR operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, including sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct.
Expected Behaviour
All guests are expected to:
- Treat others with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
- Be mindful of personal boundaries at all times
- Ensure that all interactions are appropriate and welcome
- Act responsibly, particularly where alcohol is available
Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
- Unwelcome physical contact, including touching, hugging, or invasion of personal space
- Sexually suggestive or inappropriate comments, jokes, or remarks
- Unwanted advances or persistent attention toward another individual
- Sharing or displaying offensive, explicit, or inappropriate material
- Conduct that causes discomfort, intimidation, or distress
- Inappropriate behaviour influenced by alcohol
These expectations apply to interactions with all individuals present, including employees, other guests, vendors, and event staff.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
GTR takes these matters seriously and reserves the right to take appropriate action, including:
- Taking further action if required
- Requesting individuals to leave the event immediately
- Restricting or declining future invitations to company events
- Escalating concerns to the individual’s organisation, where appropriate
