Trade document solutions provider Trade Technologies has reshuffled and bolstered its senior leadership across Asia Pacific.

Caleb Chan is set to take on the newly-created role of managing director for Asia Pacific after 14 years as director of operations for the region. In his new role, Chan will be responsible for the firm’s strategy across Asia.

Meanwhile, Alice Auyueng, formerly the manager of operations for Hong Kong, has been promoted to the dual roles of solutions director for Asia Pacific and operations director for Hong Kong, which is Trade Technologies’ largest base in the region. Auyueng takes charge of customer service across Asia as well as the company’s outsourced trade document operation in Hong Kong.

Auyueng is joined in Hong Kong by Sherman Chu, who is the new sales director for Asia Pacific. Chu brings more than 30 years of experience in trade finance operations and sales roles across Asia, including 13 years with Wells Fargo as vice-president and trade finance marketing manager for global trade services.

“Asia has been our fastest growing market for the last several years and we expect that growth to continue. Caleb and Alice have done a fantastic job building the Hong Kong office and opening our offices in Singapore and Mumbai. They will bring that success to their new roles,” says Kirk Lundburg, CEO of Trade Technologies.

Lundburg adds that he expects to grow the Asia Pacific sales and marketing team further to better respond to opportunities in the region.

Trade Technologies has 14 office across Europe, Asia and North America.
