Invoice provider Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed Marie Harvey as managing director.
Harvey, who has 11 years of experience in invoice finance will be stepping into the new role on March 1 and heading a team of 11 people based in Banbury, UK.

Harvey says she is looking forward to starting the new role and increasing the level of funding Bibby provides to businesses trading internationally.

“We have exposure to over 100 territories and offer greater levels of funding than other invoice finance providers through our international operations and understanding of different territories,” she says.

Following roles at Ultimate Finance and RBS invoice finance, Harvey joined BFS in 2008. Since this time, she has spent time with BFS Ireland and the funder’s invoice discounting team in the UK, before taking on the role as operations director for the international team.

“Marie’s operational experience is invaluable and she will undoubtedly help to drive our international business forward in line with our wider expansion plans,” says commercial director at BFS Edward Winterton.

The announcement signals the third senior appointment by the invoice financier this year following appointments of Dave Golding as UK sales director and Helen Wheeler as managing director for construction finance in February. BFS is an independent invoice finance company providing cash flow funding to over 4,000 businesses and handling annual client turnover of £4.9bn.
