Financial services group Baft-IFSA elected new members to its 2012-13 board at the group’s global annual meeting in Europe this week.

The 2012-13 board will be chaired by Jeremy Wilson, vice-chairman at Barclays Corporate. Wilson has served on the Baft-IFSA board since 2007 and is responsible for developing new business with the bank’s major corporate and institutional customers.

Wilson says: “Baft-IFSA has a critical role to play and will continue to enhance industry standards, support the international businesses of its members, work on their behalf with regulators around the world, and act as a voice for the transaction banking industry across the globe.”

Other board officers include, vice-chair James Peterson from Northern Trust and secretary/treasurer Kimberly Burdette from PNC. The newly-elected members of the board are Martin Abrahamson from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Alexandra Holcomb from Westpac , Sara Joyce from BMO, Dan Scanlan from Standard Chartered and Ian Toone from Royal Bank of Canada.
