Coface Group, the credit insurance, information and services company, has announced several management changes at its North American unit. In January 2003, Coface North America acquired CNA Credit, the credit insurance operation of Continental Insurance Company and Continental Casualty Company, and has now completed the integration of that business into the Coface organisation.
Michael Ferrante has been appointed US country manager and North America regional manager. In this role, he will manage all of Coface North America’s operations, including: credit insurance (Coface North America, Inc); collections and receivable management services (Coface Collections North America, Inc); credit information services (Coface Services North America, Inc); and marketing information (Kompass USA/Canada). Ferrante comes to Coface North America from CNA Credit and brings 25 years of experience in financial insurance, credit insurance and receivables management.
Reporting to Ferrante and heading the sales and marketing team for all product lines will be Corine Troncy, senior vice-president. She brings 15 years of international credit insurance experience to Coface North America having previously worked in the Paris, London and Tokyo offices of the Coface Group. Most recently, Troncy established Coface’s operations in Japan.
Rounding out the management team at Coface North America is Ken Moyle, senior vice-president, who is responsible for underwriting and risk management. Moyle also comes from CNA Credit where he was most recently vice-president and chief underwriting officer. Moyle also brings over 15 years of financial underwriting and risk analysis experience to Coface North America.
