Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) has appointed Emmanuel Chesneau as global head of traders, commodity finance and agribusiness.

Based in Paris and effective from September 1, Chesneau will be responsible for global coverage of trading companies and corporate commodity finance across all sectors covering energy, metals and agribusiness.

Chesneau was previously regional head of traders, commodity finance and agribusiness for the Americas as well as deputy regional head for natural resources and infrastructure for the Americas.

He replaces Dominique Beretti who will focus on expanded responsibilities as deputy global head of natural resources and infrastructure. Beretti also remains a senior manager for the UK natural resources and infrastructure teams and will continue to based in London.

Both Beretti and Chesneau will report to Federico Turegano, global head of natural resources and infrastructure.
