Société Générale has appointed Hervé Le Corre as global head of infrastructure finance.

Starting on January 4, 2016, he will be based in Paris, heading a global team in charge of financing public-private solutions and project finance for large infrastructure projects in the transportation and accommodation sectors, amongst others.

He will report to Federico Turegano, global head of natural resources and infrastructure.

Le Corre was previously deputy head of the risk department in charge of corporates covered by Société Générale CIB since September 2014. Before that, he was head of infrastructure project finance for France for three years. He joined the bank’s infrastructure project finance team in 2006, but started his career in 2002 with the French Treasury.

“Hervé’s strong track record in infrastructure project finance will be key to continuing to build upon SG CIB’s recognised strengths in this field,” the bank says in a statement.
