Tracey Austin has joined Europe Arab Bank plc (EAB) as a project finance director, with specific responsibility for the European, Middle East and North Africa markets.

 

Reporting to Jonathan King, head of project and structured finance, who joined EAB from West LB earlier this year, she will structure long-term non-recourse and/or off- balance transactions for existing and new clients and liaise with banks and professionals to maximise cross-selling opportunities across the region. .

 

Tracey joins EAB from the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund (EAIF), where she was an investment advisor providing senior and mezzanine finance solutions for energy, infrastructure and resource projects across sub-Sahara Africa.

Before joining EAIF she spent five years working for Barclays in South Africa in the project and export finance team. Being part of one of the first Africa-based investment banking teams, she worked on numerous transactions spanning the African continent.
