Gina Lim has been appointed as head of sales for financial institutions, global transaction services (GTS), at DBS Bank.

Lim took on her new role on June 18, 2012, and is now responsible for the strategy for the financial institutions segment of the bank’s transaction banking business, including banks and non-banks, in the Singapore region.

She joins DBS from Standard Chartered, where she set up and headed a transaction banking and treasury team. She has 15 years of experience with Standard Chartered, HSBC and DBS, and has managed businesses in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Tom McCabe, group head of GTS at DBS, says: “The transaction banking market in Asia is growing at a phenomenal rate and the financial institutions are a significant segment of that market. With her wealth of experience and depth of knowledge, Gina will play a key role in driving DBS GTS’ expansion in the financial institutions sector.”
