Ukraine’s IBcontacts has signed an agreement with Poslovni Info Servis, a subsidiary of Croatia’s export credit agency Hrvatsko Kreditno Osiguranje.

Under the agreement, the two organisations will co-operate in the sphere of credit insurance and business information services, with IBcontacts providing Poslovni with credit research on companies from Ukraine and the CIS to help them get finance from Croatian lenders.

IBcontacts now has memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with over 23 ECAs in 43 countries, aiming to attract foreign financing for Ukraininan firms.

Managing director Kateryna Barabash says: “The co-operation between our company and the Croatian ECA will contribute to more qualitative and rapid research, first and foremost on Ukrainian companies that perform export and import operations with Croatian partners, including the use of trade finance instruments. The co-operation will also increase the number of such operations in general and strengthen trade and investment co-operation between our countries.”
