Belarus’ largest commercial bank, Belarusbank, and Slovakia’s ExImbank have signed a cooperation agreement during a meeting of the Belarusian-Slovakian commission for economic, scientific and technical cooperation.

This was a framework agreement, and a loan agreement is expected to follow. ExImbank plans to open a credit line to finance exports of Slovakian companies to Belarus.

Also, the Belarusian-Slovakian commission signed a standardisation agreement. Belarus and Slovakia plan to sign bilateral agreements in tourism, agriculture and science in the near future.
