Software and services provider Misys has signed an agreement with ICBPI Group, one of the largest domestic invoicing and payment processors in Italy, to host an international trade finance solution for banks in the country.

The Misys Trade Portal will be hosted by ICBPI Group, and enhancing its collaborative business platform, i-CBP for its customers in Italy.

Banks will be able to access ICBPI’s platform via a “Software as a Service” model, through which they can provide corporate clients with commercial and financial information exchange services.

The solution from Misys aims to bring advanced trade finance and financial supply chain management services to ICBPI”s platform for the Italian market, helping importers and exporters more easily connect to their bank.

The hosted i-CBP solution enables banks in Italy to support the business processes of their clients without arranging integration projects between the bank’s corporate banking service and other third party products and services, such as electronic invoicing, treasury instruments or ERP applications.
