HSBC has made two appointments within its global trade and receivables finance team.

Bhriguraj Singh has been promoted to head of product management for global trade and receivables finance, Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Simon Constantinides, HSBC’s head of global trade and receivables finance, Asia Pacific.

Singh’s role will capitalise on the increased demand for trade and receivables finance products within the region, HSBC says.

Surath Sengupta will replace Singh as head of global trade and receivables finance, India. He will be responsible for driving trade revenues and growing the bank’s market share in India.

He was previously based in the UK as HSBC’s head of international business in the commercial segment.
