A dairy company in Costa Rica has secured a US$100mn, five-year syndicated loan.

The borrower is Dos Pinos,a large Central American and Caribbean dairy company. The facility was arranged by Bladex (Panama), Banco General (Costa Rica) and Banistmo (Panama), all of which acted as lead arranger. Bladex was the administrative agent.

The finance will be used to improve the debt maturity of three subsidiaries of Dos Pinos: Transnieve, Corporación Industrial Americana and Productos Nevada.
