KfW Ipex has loaned US$22.5mn for the export of Siemens medical technology to Brazil.
The loan was made to Alliar, an operator of medical diagnostic centres in 21 Brazilian cities. It will be used to expand its network to small cities across the country.
KfW Ipex is the commercial arm of the German development bank KfW. The loan is covered by an export credit guarantee from the German government.
