Richard Tull has joined Orix Trade Capital in New York. Tull was previously an executive director of LTP Trade, the online marketplace that has now repositioned itself as a software provider. He left LTP late last year but has remained a non-executive director (see GTR, Jan/Feb 2003, p15). Orix Trade Capital is part of Orix USA Corporation and set up a trade finance asset management team to provide additive capital to financing trade flows in emerging markets back in autumn 2002 (see GTR, Sep/Oct 2002, p25). One spokesman says that the team is especially thriving off Brazilian business at present.
