Kelly Stanley has been appointed head of international originations, global receivables and trade at Wells Fargo.

She reports to Jeremy Jansen, head of originations for Wells Fargo Supply Chain Finance.

Stanley joins the bank from BP, where she worked for six years, most recently as senior manager, trade finance for the US and Emea.  

Before that, she was senior trade finance officer at Socar Trading UK, a branch of Azerbaijan’s state oil company. Other roles include trade finance manager at Trafigura and an earlier stint at BP.

Jansen said: “Kelly brings an exceptional combination of global trade finance expertise, strategic leadership and strong experience helping companies optimise working capital across complex international markets.  

“Her track record spanning banking, commodities and corporate treasury make her uniquely positioned to support our clients’ evolving financing needs, and we’re excited to welcome her to Wells Fargo as we continue to expand our global receivables and trade finance capabilities.”
