Freddie Tucker has joined UK development finance institution CDC as an investment executive in its trade and supply chain finance (TSCF) team.

Tucker was previously at Dints International, which specialises in integrated solutions for the supply and maintenance of heavy machinery for the mining and construction industries globally. He joined Dints as a projects manager in 2014, and in 2015 took on the role of trade and structured finance director, arranging trade, export and supply chain finance, with a focus on customers in the metals and mining sector, and UK exporters.

He previously worked at Cornelian Capital Partners and Ruffer.

At CDC he reports to Admir Imami, who heads up the TSCF team.

“My remit is to help grow the business by originating and structuring deals, with a focus on supply chain finance,” Tucker tells GTR.

In 2016, Tucker was named joined winner of the GTR-BExA Young Exporter of the Year award.
