Trade document service and software provider Trade Technologies has opened a Seattle office to service exporters in the Pacific northwest of the US and Canada.

Kevin Theis will manage and run the office as Trade Technologies’ director of operations for Seattle. He has over 30 years’ experience working with international letters of credit and logistics.

“Opening in Seattle demonstrates our commitment to helping exporters and freight forwarders in the region streamline and automate their international trade document process,” says CEO of Trade Technologies Kirk Lundburg.

“Seattle is an important US export centre to Asia, serving not only the Pacific northwest, but also the major cities of the midwest, east coast and Canada. We have almost 40 customers in the area already and will aggressively leverage our award-winning software and services to build our business in Seattle as we have in other US and international markets.”

The office will be Trade Technologies’ 14th. The company is the largest worldwide provider of outsourced trade document services and software, operating throughout North America, Asia and Europe.
