Tokio Marine HCC has hired Terry Macauley to its credit and surety team in the role of senior credit risk underwriter.

Macauley joins from Euler Hermes, where he worked for the past nine years in risk underwriting and commercial underwriting positions. Most recently, he was a regional account manager for World Agency, Euler Hermes’ global client brand.

“I am delighted that Terry is joining us to further strengthen the underwriting team. Terry brings significant skill in risk and commercial underwriting, as well as very strong broker relationships. He has underwritten the electronics industry in particular for some time, and will add to our presence in that sector immediately,” says Ray Massey, underwriting director for trade credit.

Last year Tokio Marine HCC appointed eight underwriters to its trade credit team, underlining the business’ evolution into the mid-corporate sector.
