Chris Harrison has left RBS to become director of transaction services for Emea at the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG).

In his new role, Harrison will develop a portfolio of Japanese and multinational corporate names to manage their inbound and outbound trade finance and working capital needs across the bank’s global network.

He is based in London, and reports to Geoff Parry, MUFG’s head of trade finance for Emea.

Harrison brings over 35 years of transaction banking experience across cash, trade and working capital solutions and has held a number of senior positions including at Lloyds, Barclays and RBS. He was most recently head the transaction solutions specialists team at RBS.

Commenting on the addition to the team, Parry says: “I am delighted that Chris has joined the team here at MUFG. Trade and transaction banking remain key components of the global growth strategy for MUFG and we continue to invest in our people and platform to support and enable our clients business on an increasingly global basis.”
