Rabobank has continued its hiring spree by bringing in three senior relationship managers to its trade and commodity finance business.

Marc Staal and Mervijn Denie join the Utrecht, Netherlands office and report to the bank’s European head of trade and commodity finance, Jasper van Schaik.

Angeline Tang joins the Singapore office and reports to Francoise Roche, Rabobanks head of agri and metals, Singapore.
Staal moves to his role from Rabobank Securities where he worked in the mergers and acquisitions department for food and agriculture.

We strongly believe that they will make a great contribution [to the] development of our business.”

Denie joins from Fortis where he spent the last four years as an associate director in the agri-commodities division.
Tang returns to Rabobank where she started her commodity career.

She has worked at Fortis and BNP Paribas following the French bank’s acquisition of Fortis Belgium.

“Mervijn and Angeline bring rich experience in origination, lending and structuring of trade and commodity finance transactions,” says Karel Valken, Rabobank’s global head of trade and commodity finance, agribusiness.

“Marc will bring in a more strategic dialogue with the agri players. We strongly believe that they will make a great contribution [to the] development of our business,” Valken adds.
