Jean-François Lambert has been appointed global head of structured trade finance at HSBC, based in London. This is a newly created position and his main responsibility will be non-vanilla trade finance HSBC group-wide, and the development of this business.

Lambert reports into Bob Dungey, global head of trade services, and Richard Moseley, COO of the global transaction banking division.

Lambert was with HSBC’s French subsidiary CCF before its merger with HSBC in 2000 and has worked for HSBC since this time. He will be replaced in Paris as head of trade services at HSBC CCF, by Frederic Vilsboe, who was Lambert’s deputy.
