Munich Re America has named Sarina Puccio as team leader for credit, surety and political risk in the reinsurance division. Puccio steps up to the role as previous incumbent Frank Bonner retires after 40 years at the company.

Puccio joined Munich Re America in January 2017 as vice-president and production underwriter for the credit, surety and political risk business. Prior to this, she served for nearly five years as a portfolio underwriter in credit, surety and political risk at R+V Versicherung, a Germany-based reinsurance company. Before that Puccio was international manager at Coface, where she worked for more than six years in credit insurance, debt collection and factoring.  In her new role, Puccio remains in Princeton, New Jersey, where she reports to Martin Neuhaus, chief underwriting officer of the reinsurance division.

“Having spent her entire career in the field of surety and credit insurance, Sarina brings deep industry expertise to her new role,” says Steve Levy, CEO and president of Munich Re America’s reinsurance division.
