Rupert Cutler has joined Miller Insurance Services as an associate director – Special Risks. He joins from brokerage Glencairn and has over 19 years’ experience in the insurance market.

His specialist areas are political risk, trade finance, political violence and war on land business which he has concentrated on for over 16 years, with particular focus on agricultural and raw commodities for banks, traders and finance houses.

Kieron Russell has also moved to Special Risks at Miller and will be working closely with the political risk and trade credit teams.

Russell entered the insurance world in 2004 after a 10-year career as an officer in the British Army. He joined Heath Lambert Group in October 2004 as a broker in the political risk division concentrating on political risk, trade credit, terrorism and product recall business.
