Lendscape, a finance technology solutions provider, has appointed Gareth Evans as chief revenue officer (CRO).

As Lendscape’s first CRO, Evans will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, scaling revenue-generating initiatives and expanding the business’ ecosystem, the company says.

Evans joins Lendscape after having held various roles in financial technology companies for over 25 years, 19 of which were spent at Oracle.

He was most recently the chief commercial officer at MWek Solutions, a compliance consultancy.

Lendscape says Evans’ appointment will “deliver smarter lending solutions” to clients.

Based in London, he will report to Martin Morrin, Lendscape’s executive vice chair.

Commenting on the hire, Morrin says: “Gareth’s experience in leading global revenue initiatives and his deep understanding of the financial services and fintech sectors make him the ideal person to help propel Lendscape forward.”

Lendscape provides a wide range of finance technology services including invoice finance, factoring, supply chain finance and asset finance.

This is the company’s second senior management hire in the past few months. Patrick Myles joined from Lendable, a digital lending platform, in August as the chief technology officer.
