JP Morgan has opened a new office in Qatar’s capital Doha.

The new office will provide clients in the emirate with ground presence and access to JP Morgan products including treasury services.

The branch opening follows JP Morgan’s involvement with a number of large transactions in Qatar, including two multi-billion US dollar bond offerings.

Heidi Miller, president of international at the bank, says: “We are delighted to announce the establishment of a new office in Doha. JP Morgan has ambitious international expansion plans and being able to extend more products and services locally to clients in the Middle East is a priority to our firm.”
