Intesa Sanpaolo’s Ferdinando Angeletti has been appointed the general manager of the bank’s Dubai branch.

Angeletti also takes on the role of head of the bank’s newly-created Mena and Turkey hub.

He will move to the position in mid-June from his current role of head of Eastern financial institutions group.

“I will be responsible for the Intesa Sanpaolo network in the Mena region, which at the moment includes the Dubai branch and the Casablanca, Tunis, Cairo, Beirut and Istanbul representative offices,” Angeletti tells GTR by email.

Angeletti joined Intesa Sanpaolo in 1992 as deputy general manager of the Madrid and Singapore branches and general manager of the Hong Kong branch.
