HSBC has appointed former Citi director Arpana Amin as global head of supply chain finance.

London-based Amin joins after more than 13 years at Citi, most recently as a director, product head for Emea trade payables and global payables chief revenue officer.

She reports to Ramesh Gudi, global head of trade and working capital, and sits within HSBC’s Global Trade Solutions division, headed by Vivek Ramachandran.

The bank says Amin is tasked with expanding adoption of dynamic discounting and driving integrated working capital solutions to serve clients’ needs.

Bhriguraj Singh, chief product officer at HSBC, tells GTR: “We are pleased to have Arpana onboard with her rich experience and background in supply chain finance and payments. This will further strengthen our working capital solutions proposition to clients.”
