Law firm Hogan Lovells has named Alex Harrison as partner and Ben Sulaiman counsel, both covering the financial areas of infrastructure, energy, resources and projects.

Both are based in London and are part of a huge promotion drive from the firm in the new year.

Harrison has been with the firm since 2004 and has expertise covering project development, project and structured finance, electricity regulation, industry codes and mergers and acquisitions.

Sulaiman has been with the firm since 2003 and since 2010, has been advising on the Shah Deniz 2 gas project in Azerbaijan. His experience spans across the international energy sector.
