Matthew Leigh has joined Hogan Lovells in Singapore as an asset finance partner.

Leigh joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a senior associate. Prior to this he worked at Watson Farley & Williams in London. His specialism is aviation finance.

Among his highest profile deals was a 2016 US$135mn from two Korean banks to a Kuwaiti aircraft leaser, which was used to purchase five aircraft.

He will report to Alexander McMyn, who heads the practice.
