Deutsche Bank has made two promotions within its global transaction banking (GTB) arm.

The promotions are part of a restructure within the bank’s GTB division that will aggregate all trust and securities services and cash management for financial institutions (CMFI) businesses. The team will be led by Satvinder Singh, global head of trust and securities services and cash management for financial institutions.

The bank will also align specialist sales activities within FI and securities in a new financial institutions and securities sales team led by Jim Turley, global head of FI and securities sales and global chief operating officer for GTB.

Marcus Sehr will become global head of CMFI, where he will oversee cash management strategy, P&L and risk management. He has been with the bank for 12 years, most recently as global chief operations officer.

Based in Frankfurt, Sehr will report to Singh.

Meanwhile, John Ball will step up as global head of cash management FI sales, where he will be responsible for cash management revenues globally. At Deutsche Bank for eight years, he was previously head of cash management, FI for Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Ball will report to Turley.
