Deutsche Bank has named Vikas Arora as head of its global transaction banking (GTB) and head of trade finance and cash management for corporates (TFCMC) in Thailand.

Arora will be responsible for driving and implementing the bank’s in-country GTB growth while also leading the expansion of its TFCMC business.

Based in Bangkok, Arora will report locally to Frank Krings, Deutsche’s general manager and chief country officer for Thailand, and to Lisa Robins, head of GTB, Asia Pacific. In his role of head of TFCMC for Thailand, he will report to Kaushik Shaparia, Asia Pacific head of TFCMC.

Arora was most recently head of payments and clearing services for Deutsche’s operations in India. He has been with the bank since 1996 and has held a number of positions across its sales, product management, customer service and operations departments.

Arora tells GTR: “I look forward to building on the strong GTB franchise we already have in Thailand. We will continue to provide our local clients with solutions that are customised to their needs and that will help them grow their business both locally and internationally.”
