Deutsche Bank has made two new appointments to its global transaction banking (GTB) division in Indonesia.

Elwin Karyadi is to become head of GTB in Indonesia while Le-Nhat Phuong Hong has been appointed head of GTB in Vietnam.

Karyardi has 20 years industry experience and joined Deutsche Bank in 2005. Before this latest appointment, he was head of direct securities services (DSS) for Indonesia and he will continue to manage DSS alongside his new role.

As GTB head he will report to Lisa Robins, regional head of GTB, Asia Pacific and locally to Suresh Narang, chief country officer for Indonesia. In his role as head of DSS he will continue to report to Mrugank Paranjape, regional head of DSS, Asia Pacific.

Le is also maintaining her previous role as head of trade finance and cash management corporates, Vietnam, alongside her new role as head of GTB, Indonesia. She joined Deutsche Bank in 2008 as head of cash management corporates and she has 14 years of transaction banking experience.

As head of GTB Vietnam, Le reports to Robins and Tri Pham, chief country officer for Vietnam and in her capacity as head of trade finance and cash management, she reports to Kaushik Shaparia, head of trade finance and cash management for Asia Pacific.
