Law firm Clyde and Co has brought in ex-Salans partner Philip Prowse.

He has taken the role of trade and finance group partner at Clyde and Co.

Prowse specialises in providing legal advice covering lending, structured trade, project, acquisition and real estate finance.

Prowse worked extensively across Central and Eastern Europe, including the CIS while serving as a partner and joint head of the global banking and finance group at Salans.

“We are pleased to welcome Philip to the firm and believe he will be a great addition to the team,” says Stephen Tricks, a partner at Clyde and Co.

“His vast experience in advising banks and international trading entities will add to the strength and growth of the team’s operations worldwide.”

Prowse adds: “I see this as a unique opportunity in today’s difficult economic climate to work with the trade finance team to help develop the practice at Clyde and Co.”
