Citi has confirmed that Sanjay Tandon has left his role as head of Asia trade, with no replacement yet appointed.

It has been reported elsewhere that Tandon will be joining HSBC in some unnamed capacity, however neither Citi nor HSBC were able to confirm this to GTR.

Tandon had been at Citi since 2005, when he joined as Asia head for trade services. He previously worked for ABN Amro and Standard Chartered.

HSBC has recently reshuffled its senior trade business in Asia, replacing Simon Constantinides, former head of global trade and receivables finance in the region with Tan Siew Meng in July.
