David Lacey has left law firm Lovells in London, where he was a partner for some years. His practice included banking and trade finance.
Furthermore, Lovells has appointed David Hudd, currently head of the firm’s capital markets practice, as practice stream leader, finance. He succeeds David Harris, who is taking over from Lesley MacDonagh as managing partner. Hudd will serve for a three-year term.

As practice stream leader, finance, Hudd has overall responsibility for four related practice areas at the heart of Lovells’ transactional practice: banking; business restructuring and insolvency; capital markets; and project finance. He also becomes a member of the firm’s international executive, which has responsibility for developing Lovells’ strategy across its practice areas and regions and for the full range of business driving issues.
