BNY Mellon has promoted Susan Skerritt to head up the bank’s global product management and strategic development for its treasury services business.

Skerritt moves to the role from within the bank’s financial markets and treasury services division where she was head of business strategy, development and investment.

She started at BNY Mellon in2006 after working in treasury servies positions at Treasury Strategies Inc., Ernst and Young and Morgan Stanley.

Skerritt succeeds Al Briand, who has moved on to become chief administrative officer for the bank’s corporate trust business.

Furthermore, treasury services veteran Alan Verschoyle-King has changed roles to head of global sales and relationship management.

Verschoyle-King was BNY Mellon’s head of treasury services for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
