Global trade management solution provider Amber Road has opened an office in Munich, which will serve as its Emea headquarters.

The new office will support and complement the activities of its existing sales offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.

According to a statement issued by the company, the aim is to grow the business more rapidly in Europe and to provide a “first rate implementation and support experience for European customers”.

“With the Emea headquarters co-ordinating our region-wide activities, we can better serve our existing and future customers, complementing our local representations with enhanced resources and expertise for a wider range of functions,” says company president John Preuninger.

Amber Road’s European customer base includes the likes of ABB, Drägerwerke, Lantiq, Metso, Siemens and Talis, all of which subscribe to its global trade management solutions. The company provides a single, on-demand platform that automates and streamlines global trade.
