Alper Nalbant has joined Turkey’s Aktif Bank as the vice-president of financial institutions.

Nalbant will be leading the team responsible for managing the correspondent banking relations and trade finance activities in the Middle East, North Africa and GCC regions.

Other responsibilities include developing new trade finance products for corporates and arranging loans from international capital markets.

Before joining Aktif Bank, Nalbant worked as a dealer on the Asia desk of an international foreign exchange and commodities broker, before spending seven years at financial institutions of Bank Asya as a relationship manager.
