Surecomp, a provider of trade finance solutions for the wholesale banking industry, has announced that the trade finance import module of Imex is now live at the Singapore branch of Natexis Banques Populaires. Natexis licensed Imex in September 2002. Following the implementation of Imex in Singapore, the bank’s Hong Kong branch will shortly commence implementing Imex. Natexis has implemented Imex Thin Client on a Unix platform.

Surecomp’s COO, Eyal Hareuveny, says: “This is a highly significant achievement for the joint Natexis Banques Populaires and Surecomp teams. Despite the Sars outbreak and the resulting problems the epidemic caused, the bank commenced production with the Imex import module on time.”

Imex is Surecomp’s Swift Ready Gold accredited and bolero.net enabled trade finance solution.
