Bank of New York (facility agent), Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Erste Bank, HSH Nordbank, Natexis Banques Populaires, RZB, Standard Chartered Bank (bookrunner and info memo), Wachovia Bank and WestLB London (bookrunner and documentation agent) as mandated lead arrangers have signed a US$100mn 364-day syndicated term loan export facility for Turkey’s GarantiBank International.

Following a successful syndication the borrower decided to increase the facility from its launch amount of US$75mn to US$100mn.

The margin is 40bp per year.

In syndication a select number of banks were invited to join as a co-arranger (US$5mn and participation fee of 40bp), and as a lead manager (US$2.5mn at 35bp).

Joining as co-arrangers were: American Express Bank GmbH; Burgan Bank; Mashreqbank; Rabobank International; WGZ-Bank Westdeutsche Genossenschafts-Zentralebank; Union Bank of California.

Chang Hwa Commercial, London, OKO Bank and Sampo Bank joined as lead manager.
