Dieter von Boddien has joined the forfaiting team at Skandifinanz Bank in Zurich. His arrival fills a void left by the departure of Barbara Bosl at the end of December 2005. Von Boddien will strengthen Skandifinanz’s activities on the investor side, not restricted to traditional forfaiting instruments such as bills of exchange or promissory notes, but also in respect of accounts receivable finance, bank guarantees, payment undertakings and documentary credits with deferred payment.

He joins from Bayerische Hypovereinsbank in Munich, where he worked in Armin Schmalzgruber’s secondary market team together with Irene Port and Matthias Schneider.

According to Norbert Fritsch, head of forfaiting at Bayerische Hypovereinsbank, von Boddien will be replaced by Silja Calac working with Charles Brough for the bank in Singapore. Her position will be filled by Sun Hai Lian moving from Beijing to Singapore.

Paul Stoessel, managing director of Skandifinanz, plans a steady growth in business during 2006, supported by shareholder NordLB, who granted its subsidiary much greater flexibility with regard to the country limits.
