ING has brought in some changes in its structured finance team in Singapore. Silas Wong becomes director, natural resources for Asia, joining from Calyon, where he was vice-president and regional head of energy. He will oversee origination, structuring and execution of project financing in the Asian oil and gas sector. Wong will report to Wijnand van Eck, director, natural resources for Asia.
Also joining is Giuseppina Tagliani, who has been appointed vice-president, utilities finance for Asia. Tagliani will focus primarily on the Asian power and water sectors, providing support to ING’s efforts to expand origination and execution projects in the region.
Tagliani joins from Bank of America Hong Kong, where she was an assistant vice-president in the utilities team. Before Bank of America, she worked at NM Rothschild in Singapore and at Banque Paribas in London.
Tagliani will report to Erwin Maspolim, head of utilities finance for Asia.
