Westpac has appointed Andrew McDonald as head of loans and syndications for the institutional bank.

McDonald brings extensive experience to the role. He returns to the loans business after two and a half years as global head of capital markets sales.
He reports to Steve Rankine who is head of debt capital markets which includes project and structured debt, syndications, asset finance, leveraged finance, corporate and hybrid securities, securitisation, structured derivatives and corporate foreign exchange.
