UniCredit has made three promotions within its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business, with immediate effect.

Cédric Derras has been appointed new global head of cash management, succeeding Thomas Dolenga, who has left the bank. Derras joined UniCredit in 2015 as head of cash management sales for Italy, having previously worked at Deutsche Bank and Société Générale.

Simone del Guerra has been promoted to global co-head of transactional sales, alongside Gabriele Simonetti. Del Guerra joined the bank in 2010 and has since held various role, latest as deputy head of transactional sales. Prior to UniCredit, he worked at GE Capital and IBM.

Alfredo Bresciani, previously UniCredit’s global trade finance sales coordinator, has been appointed co-head of GTB Italy, alongside Francesco Francioni. Before joining the bank in 2011, Bresciani worked at HSBC and Fortis.

Derras, del Guerra and Bresciani report to UniCredit’s global co-heads of GTB, Jan Kupfer and Claudio Camozzo.
