Hamburg-based TrustBills has appointed Christian Schmitt as its senior vice president of investor solutions.

Schmitt will be responsible for institutional investors and the asset management division of the online platform for buying and selling trade receivables.

Schmitt, an industrial engineer, brings over 20 years of experience in asset management and investment banking. As a former managing director of Risklab, an Allianz Global Investors company, Schmitt has significant experience in providing advisory services for institutional investors.

Commenting on his new role Schmitt says: “I am looking forward to creating the ideal trading environment for investors on TrustBills’ trading platform.”
