Mark Troutman has been named group head of sales, global transaction services, at DBS Bank.

He joins from HSBC where he was most recently head of corporate sales for the bank’s payments and cash management division in Hong Kong. He previously worked for JP Morgan and the Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Based in Singapore, he reports to John Laurens, head of global transaction services, who says: “Global transaction services is a strategic priority for the bank given its essential role in deepening our institutional banking group customer relationships and as a driver of revenue growth for the group.”

Troutman takes a role that was vacated by Vivek Batra earlier this year, when he joined the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) as regional head of transaction banking for Asia and Oceania.
