Marc Delbaere has been appointed head of corporates and trade finance at Swift, replacing Andre Casterman who left the company in January.

Delbaere has been with Swift since 2008, first as head of standards strategy and architecture and most recently as head of MyStandards, a collaborative web platform for management of standards across the industry. He will take on his new role on August 1.

He previously worked at IBM for almost 12 years, as a development manager and product portfolio manager.

Casterman has joined Belgium-based fintech start-up INTIX as chief marketing officer.
